Dodge Dart Restoration ...? So I have a 1968 Dodge Dart and I think to put a 360 engine in it? There are many options for a 360 well, but who is the best and least cost (some combination of water intakes, headers, carbs, 408 stroker, 6-pack, etc.). I found a guy on eBay who has good grades and sells in-line engines for a living. They are relatively cheap and people say it works very well. I also wondered what the suspension should I put on the car (if I'm going for all new or expensive upgrade of stocks). I also wondered if $ 5,500 was an accurate estimate of the Keisler TKO-600 transmission of American powertrain that comes with everything (transportation, bellhousing, converters, pedals, pistol grip, stands, etc.). It will be a car street. thoughtful responses are greatly appreciated

Now your head in the right direction on this car, the cheaper 360 is a bargain, but not much more than the cost alone id go with her on the suspension kit there are other manufacturers who also supply kits make 4-wheel disc brakes with four-wheel, I would not go through Reilly suspension on this property, you progress through, He will deal much better, and 5500 is a little high on a transmission test more than a guarantee they actually put on it, but they build a real good transmission, the suspension of the upgrade inventory is correct but it is used to manage as you'll expect it, that is what I have on my feather duster and I wish had gone better with that car is still street legal, Michigan is one of the states are not like cars to be fasting, the only place I've never had any problem from most of the parts you buy are now street legal to use as long as you keep it to the right, which means you can not run slicks in s Street, except that you can very well do what you want with it, you can even run a roll cage in the car street legal days.good luck.
your welcome, Im glad I can help you on this, when you get ready to get started on this let me know, I hope, I, am here, somewhere, you got the worst part of it including this now, good luck. Report Abuse
better have some heavy research if it will be a street car ... sometimes in some areas by the law in some parts of the city are "too fast" for the street, forcing you to the trailer ...
WYA and everything you look If you're going to do anything .. you spend money .. whatever .. there is no cheap way to make a fast car
