Armor All Wax It Dry

Posted on May 14, 2010.
Armor All Wax It DryDoes anyone know how to remove dried wax from a plastic car outside?

i waxed my car and I missed wiping the wax off the plastic componets. I tried all the armor and soap and water and it does not work, any suggestions!

Get a bottle of nail tar bug. It works.

Most parts stores carry a product stripper wax made to that effect or try vinegar and water 50/50 mixture and rinse well after having done so. The vinegar is acidic and should reduce the wax.

Creamy peanut butter has fatty acids and oil needed to soften the wax on the plastic. Rub a little wait a minute, then wash with soap and water.

I do not assign cars, except those that I currently have and work on myself but ... wax now that I know things like tar remover most "damaging the surface to try baby oil it softens the wax with the wound surface and then removing the excess oil with cloth wet wipe with diluted dishsoap a dry cloth to your ready to go!

Try it with WD 40 or soraying spray WD on a rag and wipe the spot, then take a clean dry cloth and wipe off the wd
