Caberg Helmets

Posted on June 2, 2010.
Caberg HelmetsI am thinking of buying a helmet Caberg, with black visor internally. Is it worth buying?

it is a good helmet in my opinion, I've been using one for about 2 years now and visor saves all the hassle of having to stop and mess around with sunglasses all the time. There is also a standard of security than the simple BS Kitemark which means you can use it for days follow-up if necessary. Guard fog works well and it is not too noisy when going over a ton! Not that I ever did. overall very comfortable and cheap at less than 100 euros

Thank you to all those who don 'replied.i get a test drive of a companion. Report Abuse

Yeah right helmet and visor Internal great idea. It is a but, and this is not protected against UV and when he is at your pupils dilate allowing more UV radiation is not good for anything that goes dark visor. Thus, it can be annoying, but sunglasses are a safer bet in my humble opinion.
Hope this helps.

Everyone I know that is was a Caberg helmet was disappointed, they have horrible habit of leaking when it rains, I had one that had to be repalced 3 times before I asked for my money, my Companion D, had a leak and that in and the odor, P + C has a pair and they fled through the holes - NO WAY recommeded

It depends on what model Caberg and this type of practice you do.
I bought a matt black Caberg trip is about 18 months for travel and IAM observer. In this role, it's great but when I want to climb more gradually on my GSXR 1000, I prefer a helmet face non-flip because it's quieter.
I always use earplugs when I ride, but the front travel Caberg flip is quite noisy.
As HJC etc. I also think Caberg helmets with full visor, if not the main attraction for you.
For value for money and comfortable (for me anyway) I think HJC worthwhile.

It's good for the price. If your budget extends to the Schuberth C2 helmet is the best IMO in terms of design and construction. I think they are more responsive and quieter than the Caberg but they are 2-3 times the price.

This headset is junk.
Buy an Arai helmet.
they are the best.
