Is it a glaze breaker as well as a perfect cylinder? Is it a glaze breaks the same as a perfect cylinder, I need to hone my cylinder motorcycle and was wondering if a cylinder is a perfect glaze breaker?
no, they are a little different
Not a perfect removes metal much more than enamel breaker. A glaze is perfect, but can take off a little more than necessary.
A cylinder is a perfect set of wheels designed for flat metal removed. It can be used as a glaze breaker if the stones used are fine grain.
Some glaze breaker is more like a brush with round stones on the ends with a very fine grain.
Cylinder enamel is baked on oil and fuel residue. If not removed, the rings can not correctly.
Your question and the answers are not quite logical, but running is for a cylinder after drilling to take the proper clearance. What is different for all manufacturers according to their engineering tolerances. Braking enamel is used in a bore when an owner or a mechanic say is just to put new rings in and is not a won and a new piston. It could be authorized for a cyilinder in a multi, but on a bike is a cheap and temporary.
