I notice that in Rev 7, when he speaks of the 144,000 he says, there will 12,000 from each tribe. The tribe of Joseph is not mentioned and the tribe of Levi is not mentioned. I wonder if this means that these tribes no longer exist and therefore they are not listed. If the tribe of Levi is not, there can be no temple for the worship of the temple priests who had just required the tribe of Levi. I would like to hear some comments about it. Thank you. GBU.

The tribe of Levi, became the property of the LORD, when they were in the desert.
They have no inheritance in Israel, the LORD is their inheritance.

Two son Joseph took the inheritance to Israel!

Bible is published in due time. Do you still believe in it?

Joseph was replaced by his two son Ephraim and Manasseh, who each receive a full blessings of their grandfathers. It is also the brother of others displaced.

The 12,000 of each tribe is simply a number of commands. The importance is that the number of each tribe will be filled. If I remember correctly from the tribe of Dan was also left out, if I may be wrong about this. There was once a belief in the spirit of the Antichrist from the tribe of Dan when Dan lost his place. Or something to that effect.

In any event, according to the Apocalypse:

Rev 9:22 p.m. And I saw no temple for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

There will be no temple, no need of a Levitical priesthood. In this spirit, Jesus is a priest "forever in the order of Melchizedek." The Levitical priesthood is repealed.

A book among the Dead Sea Scrolls called The Coming of Melchizedek is an interesting read in light of the "Priesthood of Melchizedek.
