Will hold a soldering iron pipe exhaust? I have a go-kart and the exhaust has been changed from a four-wheeler and he slips out of its original size. Are electric welding it in place?
you say he slipped out of the exhaust? see if you can drill a small hole on each side of the pipe and use JB weld around him. he won, t go out then.
N, the weld was not enough tensile strength and when it is heated, it has even less.
def. no, you'd better tie him with the son of copper, or even a coat hanger
The pipe will be hot enough to melt the solder electrical
most of its length.
Up near the engine, even soldering is too "soft."
Get it welded.
If it is cast iron, wire it and put a threaded hold-inch better than nothing.
