Saris Bones purchase 805-Bike Trunk Mount Rack 2 Quebec-Saris-805
Bones BuyingSaris 805-Bike Trunk Mount Rack 2
Easy to use and it integrates

I could not find a bike rack or Yakima or Thule attach to my two cars. So it is with great trepidation that I ordered sight unseen Saris. The installation instructions were easy to understand and the rack attached firmly to one of my two cars. Being the lazy type, I store it in the mounting position for one of them. When I need to use it, I simply position the straps and tighten. The straps are secure and protect points.Movement fixing the front wheel is minimal, but a bungee cord attachment may be useful for long trips or bumpy.
The minimalist design and practice of this support is outstanding. I say to all those who seek my opinion on a bike rack Saris to check before looking at any of the competition.

impressive

Well worth the extra money on simpler models. No scratches on the car. Stable, easy to configure. There should have bought it long ago.

It fits my Honda Prelude perfectly

I have a slight Fuji road bike and had no problems installing this mount on my Honda Prelude 01. I'm not a spoiler. One critic said that this support going to ruin my painting, but I have a thousand layers of wax on my Lude and do not anticipate problems. NOTE: I followed the advice of Anthony (the guy in New York with the BMW) and bought rubber bands at Lowe's and wrapped the clips.

Awesome-robust, secure and easy to install

Easy to install, even if the initial configuration can take about 20 minutes to define the positions of the arm and determine the placement and length strap. Holds bikes with straps (top tube and seat post) and settings can take plenty of bikes (bicycles, tires) away from the vehicle body / paint. If it rubs you probably do not have the height adjusted right arm (as I discovered). Suitable for both my 2000 Honda Prelude and 2007 Accord on a Bianchi road bike and a Gary Fisher mountain bike. I read many reviews complaining about the game saw was plastic and stripping. This raised initial concerns about materials and construction quality. While I can see how it would be easy to think that they should be tight gorilla-there is no reason to go crazy with them. The arms are designed rack for the grill-work set screw keeps the position of the arm sideways. Just a little tight on the screws and check from time to time you get off the road. Rack is sturdy lightweight plastic reinforced with aluminum where it counts. Well designed and easy to load. Foldable compact and fits easily in the trunk (even in my small trunk Prelude) or in the corner of the closet. Glad I spent a little more to start and something that WO.
