What are the best types of tires to use on my boat trailer to travel long distances? I currently tire factory (Loadstar ST205/75/D14). I thought it might be a good idea to put radial tires on the road to travel nearly 1,000 miles. I'm pulling a Walk Around Trophy 1802. Not very heavy, but I do not want to be "that guy" on the roadside. Suggestions?
The best advice here is to make sure you use tires of the trailer, many places of automobile tires are not well trained in the tires of the trailer, if I find it good to go directly to the a trailer manufacturers or large retailers. if anything go a little Heaver on "Load Range" We often add much more speed. Because the trailer wheels will steer like a car or truck, the side wall is twisted, and the profile is higher. Good Luck1

If the Loadstar have a lot of tread and are structurally sound (no dents, cracks, dryrot, or other abnormalities) they should be good. Have a good alternative and go.
Unable to use car tires on a heavy boat. The side walls are not strong enough
carry a spare.
your hubs are more likely to be problematic that the tires - consider carrying a spare hub.
