Marine Parts Express

I am looking for a song to help express the part of my life I'm going through right now, there are many that come close, but I have not found the right one. A little history ... My fiance is in the Marines (hopefully home soon, just received a medical waiver granted) and we have a 5 year old son together. I know "Where'd You Go" is what comes to mind almost everyone, but I'm looking for something else. About a song to be together / in love, but separated yet. I'm not too big on country, but according to the song it might work. Anyone with some input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
