Motorcycle Helmet Lock

I just got my first bike. Honda CBR 600 F4i

I just received a $ 400 helmet.

I commute to college from the small community. and my bike for the summer will be my main transport

Now, my question is. What should I do with my helmet. Can I leave it on my bike, lock it or wear it around.
