motorcycle helmets? I noticed that some people who wear motorcycle helmets are helmets that do cover their faces. It looks like a helmet ww2 German army. Is it safe to have on when going on the highway?
These half-shell helmets are a joke. They can protect your skull, but the face is at risk for damage. Road Rash, broken bones, exposed to steal stuff from the windows of the car (cigarette butts), bugs and other things. I always wore a helmet when I got my bike and I intend to buy another helmet when I get my next bike. My helmet last few serious scratches on the chin bar. With an open face helmet, which could be a broken jaw and it was a challenge many of Road Rash. Its your choice. I'd rather be safe than sorry.
the helmet that you should where a
helmet. anyone who wears it is a
open face helmet is an idiot.
I will not wear anything except a full face helmet. I lower the front on the track at 120 km / h (75 mph) and passed over the handlebars at the rear of a car at 20 km / h (12 mph) and was not injured in the face of each opportunity, because the helmet protected me.
There are many arguments about their weight and restricted vision, but I prefer to keep my face where it is.
I wear both full face helmets and full face depending on the weather and the bike I'm riding. Each rider must decide for himself the value that the gray matter. My head is full of rocks, so I need a helmet that provides the speed of lifting.
You are sure a full face helmet, but everyone has their own style and helmets half or more buckets are comfortable to wear.
Any person with a face so afraid of riding they may as well stay in the car.
No, everyone should use a helmet for maximum protection.
full-face helmets give you the most protection, helmets half give you the least protection after descending about 30 km / h and having the bike land on top of me with just a half helmet I moved to a full face and I do not wear the helmet half so I'll just make a short turn as the street or around the block
Well, what I want an extra 6 pounds trying to snap the neck if I'm in a wreck or do I want 12 ounces? my windshield takes care of debris and wind ... it is for risk management .... I'd rather have a scar from being a cripple from the neck if I ever have a bad accident.
