Types of car tires There are different types of car tires on the market. Each type has its own specifications and characteristics of the variety of costume cars on Indian roads. It also depends on the use of the car and the requirement for car owners. There are some car owners who customize their car tires based on their needs and desires.
Not all types of car tires are available in India, but most of them are better suited for Indian roads. In the country there are many new cars equipped with tires of different cars. Some common types are:
Performance Tires
performance tires best suited for the faster cars where performance and adherence plays an essential role. These tires have a shorter lifespan, but are ahead in terms of performance and handling. They are composed of a soft compound and tread blocks specific biased grip pure and simple.
Season Tire
The all-season tires are the tires for all weather conditions and this is the tread, which may enable them the smooth running throughout the year. They are made of hard rubber compound and are designed to maintain a balance between catching, handling, performance, durability and safety in wet weather. Many cars are equipped with such tires, but they are unable to offer firm grip and cornering. Not good summer tires, or they are excellent winter tires, but these work best in all situations and weather conditions.
Wet-Weather Tires
Rain tires are made of hard rubber compounds. The hard rubber compound must be heated quickly in cold or wet. These tires are designed to maintain traction on wet roads and work effectively on Indian roads especially in cities where heavy rains often makes driving difficult.
Special Winter Tires
Winter car tires are designed to work well in winter especially in the period beginning in early November and ending at the end of March. These work well when there is snow and ice on roads. However, such situations are not in India but in other countries these types of tires work very well on snow and wet roads. In such situations the tires to maintain grip. The main drawback of these tires is that they are noisy on dry roads.
All Terrain Tires
All-terrain tires are designed for SUVs and light trucks. They have stiffer sidewalls and more sculptures block. The biggest block to make sculptures tires noisy on normal roads, but these off-road tires work effectively cut loose sand and dirt. These types of tires is a balance between off-road capability and good manners on the road.
Mud Tires
Mud tires are massive and super-chunky cobblestones and most suitable for the roads covered with mud. The design of the tread blocks is such that it has taken a bit into the muddy surface. These tires will not work on road conditions, but when it comes to off-road are the best. They even surpass the capabilities of off-road all-terrain tires.
