Outboard? What oil do you use with a 115hp Mercury 91 'outboard
You use a 2 stroke oil in good quality cheaper than oils tend to clog the engine over time. Quick Silver oil is manufactured and recommended by mercury and does a good job. If you must mix, check that the mix in the recommended servings. Most systems have a separate tank that you just add the oil. Clean any old oil in the tank if it was some years ago.
I suppose you have a two stroke engine, if so, I recommend Quicksilver oil mixture. I tried everything and it's my favorite.
Quick Silver
I ran Pennzoil 2 stroke oil in my 1991 Merc for years and have never had a problem. It will probably save you more than Quicksilver, especially if you buy by the case.
