Passat PartsWhat is the cost of replacement parts VW Passat?

So I sent my car to the VW dealer for an oil change and I get a notice in the mail to replace these parts drive belts, valve cover gasket and cam seal Adjuster

What is the estimated cost to replace them? BTW, I have no problems with the car when I drive

Depends on the year and engine of your Passat. Assuming that it is a B5 1.8T, the valve cover gasket and seals for adjusting the cam is relatively easy and quick fixes. If the drive belts refers to any accessory (serpentine) belt is a relatively inexpensive repair, but if you because of your timing belt should be replaced, which is recommended after 60.000 miles, but no later than 100,000 miles, then you'll look around a repair bill of $ 1,000.

For belts, replacement is dictated solely by the mileage, the ranges above. For joints, they must be replaced if they are visible when the infiltration from the valve cover meets the head. You can check this by opening the hood, remove the decorative engine cover plastic, and examining this area, paying closer attention to the engine side of the firewall (if the owner is a distribution chain).
