It is the Purolator oil filters crap or what? I drive a 2005 Nissan Frontier with Mobil 1. I usually use a Wix filter, but in the hurry and the store I went to one sale of Purolator. Is it decent or filters should I buy a good and change them.
Any thoughts?
Why should you use bad words American? Nissan good, very good. Filter important. But many filter is the same.
I'm sorry.
Purolator is now owned by Bosch, so I do not trust them anymore, and I'm not a big fan of FRAM.
Like you, I prefer WIX, but they are a little hard to find. I think NAPA filters are made for them by WIX.
I got lucky with AC-Delco. Very well done and well priced.
Just keep an eye on the filter. Japanese engines generally run higher oil pressures. Watch for leaks. But I would't bother to change it.
Oh, and about your Mobil One. Shell Rotella T Synthetic carries with it in testing, and it is cheaper to Wallys Mart. Is the only oil I use.
Purolator should be good. Napa is safe, but a different brand names mentioned herein may be very bad. Doing some research on the net. I do not really have names, but that other very popular brand cost me an engine due to poor construction.
Purolator oil filter is as good as Wix In fact, I prefer Purolator there are only a few companies that make oil filters or simply different labels filter
Personally I always use Fram filters
Personally, I always use Bosch.
it's good enough for the use of Mobil 1. If you used a better oil, I lean to something else ......
yeah, but its fine Fram is the way to go but your ok
