recommendations of oriental spices please? I intend to give a friend a spice rack for Christmas - it is really in the kitchen, but his collection of herbs spices is sorely lacking! He especially likes Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. Can anyone suggest some spice to the kitchen where I would be sure to include? (No cost tips please!)
