Spray Auto Wax

Posted on June 15, 2010.
Spray Auto WaxDo you think those wax spray-on/rinse-off car in the car really wash?

Has anyone seen a real difference on their cars (like water beading) after driving through one of these washes of wax? I still use the basic wash because I'm pretty skeptical that any pulverized and rinsed might stick to the car at all.

I've been driving long. From my experience, yes, the wax will bead water sprayers. However, it does not last long, and if you get on the glass of the car, it leaves a film that takes a while to start.

Although I do not work for any company that makes waxes over the years, I tried a number of products, the mother of gold, Nu-Finish. I learned that no product can truly guarantee that this will really take a year, unless your car is garage kept 90% of the time. I liked the ads Nu-finish, but after trying it on an old car that was kept outside most of the time I did not notice enough difference to justify their claims. For some time if it looked nice.

Currently I am a great wash and wax my car every spring and fall. Right now I use Meguiar's Gold Wax liquid (shake the bottle when you use it well,) and then once or twice a month, I touched with wax Meguiar's NXT Spray. It is a nice touch of wax sprayed on a car in dry and it has several weeks to look like a fresh wax job. It is easy to use, and is found everywhere, Wal-Mart, AutoZone, Advance, etc.

Another good line that I and my father swears by Eagle One Nano-Tech Stuff. It looks great and goes easily. I find it wears too fast for my taste though. I do not want to re-wax my car (even if it's easy) every 3-4 weeks. I want to be able to simply projections and do with it. It is also easy to find everywhere.

Once Detailer told me he used to use motor oil (new) on its cars and deer, until, in a layer of wax. This allowed for a great shine, and beads of water.

Whatever you choose to use, I do not recommend wax car wash. They do not last long, and they are a pain to get off the glass surfaces of your car.

They do not work, including a drive through car wash. You are actually removing wax your car like all the brushes on the automatic car wash spin at high speeds and can eventually dull your paint.

Please try not to take your car to the automatic car wash. They do more harm than good.

Of course, they work, it's more of how they work. It is a thin layer at the very least, and probably only last a week or two. Where do you work the wax by hand good, it can take several months.

No, there not that good, I level with you.

Do not take more than a few days.

There is no substitute for a good part in the old wax into the driveway. And even that only lasts a few months.
