Steelers Helmet

No wise cracks please. I always wondered why the Steelers have their logo on one side of their helmets. The first to respond, who knows really, and gives me an answer based fact that can be verified, get ten points.

it was supposed to be temporary for testing the new logo, but was made permanent, because it was rare and sports superstitions. Here is a link on the significance of the logo that explains the story of one side.

Here's a little info for you. There are only two teams in the league who does not have a logo on both sides of their helmets, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Pittsburgh is also the only U.S. city with all its major sports teams with the same colors. Report Abuse
