I sympathize with people who seek to cure panic attacks. Without the right training stress , it can literally feel like at the end of the world in case of a strike attack.

I had panic attacks over a period of six months, when I was twenty old.It seemed to have arisen from the air, but after my first experience I will never forget it completely broke. One stress, no matter how ridiculous the situation, and my mind racing in the final state of a full-blown panic attack.That lead to ratcheting still higher stress, and war would be conducted if I could keep it under control.

One night while in college at 4:00, which happened often, because I liked to stay until the end of anxiety and sometimes keep me even if I wanted to go to bed, an infomercial came on . It was a band of 12 Set of how anxiety and panic attacks beaten.

These tapes have worked the magic and panic attacks have been my story in a month. In fact, other than randomly in the planes, I have not suffered an attack in 17 years.

The price used and guided visualizations relaxations.I did not notice this originally, each tape was a tape numbered. Whoever does the trick for me was a specific guided visualization.

Visualization guided me into a phase of relaxation with deep breathing. Once deep relaxation has been reached, I was asked to imagine a time where I felt safe, secure and happy. I remember it was a sensitive issue - not that I didn 't feel things, but think of a situation that perfectly summarizes all three was not easy to do.

I thought getting into a car as parents child.My young to drive, I was in the back window and the sun was down.The track was on my face and I slept with a pure content.

Why now? No idea. But the combination of being guided deep relaxation, then fully consider for a moment that I felt contented and happy, it made me feel better than I had long felt.

What is strange for me, and I still do not understand why it worked is that anxiety immediately ceased to be a problem in my life. When a potential wave of panic reared its head, I could consciously recognize and breathe through it, leaving the wash over me. This does not mean that I was not tense or that some waves were no more intense than others, but never an attack (with the exception of flights ... still working on that one).
