Water Spots On CarHow to remove water stains from Windows

At some point in your life, possibly years later, you will experience water spots! If its on your windows, shower doors, boat or car windshields. At some point, they happen! And boy are they hard to get rid of. Over the years I gathered information for each method works its way! So find out how to remove water stains from Windows and select methods that work best for you and your window cleaning needs!

Method 1
Let's start by using the most common method. If your water stains have not been there for long, Windex is always an easy solution, but leaves the face. It does not always get the hard water stains.

Method 2
Our vessel has the worst water stains on the windshield ever. Needless to say that Windex does not work if we have progressed, white vinegar and a magic eraser. It worked great. Do not get me wrong, a little elbow grease was needed, but it paid off in the end! I think our window was so clean that it was the day we bought the boat!

Method 3
All summer watering was striking our sliding glass door. By far, the hard water stains have been among the most difficult to remove. So we turned to fine steel wool! Let me tell you, it worked like a charm!

When you finally get your windows clean, apply a few drops of rain ex, it helps a lot! We have seen a noticeable difference in the amount of hard water stains that usually appear around our house. *

These are the three methods I try to stick with. They have always managed to do the work for me. While there are others out there, I did not have to try again here!

Cleaner for glass top oven and a Brillo pad (my sister swears by it!)

One of my grandmother's methods is to use Colgate toothpaste (just the plain kind) apply on a paper towel or cloth feel, and place it on the window of a waxing as the movement . Then clean with Windex or glass cleaner of your choice for awesome results!

A product called Bring it on releasing water. It has something to dissolve the minerals. You apply as a paste on leave for a few minutes, then wipe them out! Sounds simple. I do not know if it is not available in my area because I'm still finding this product!

I hope this gave you some ideas on how to remove water stains from windows! And your days scouring a little easier!
