Installation
Installing Westin Oval Tube Steps (and one of Westin products) is as simple as can be. Like most of Westin products, this book is fully bolted and requires no drilling. Instructions are included in the area and are also available for download directly from Stylin 'Trucks' website.
Note: This is the author, step by step installation of tube steps Westin, protection bars, and running boards. They are not a substitute for the manufacturer's instructions, which should be followed by a "T".
Open box
First, remove the tube and measures the entire contents of the box. You need brackets individually wrapped bars of your nerve (or tube stages), instructions and all installation hardware.
Then look at the instructions. Ok, done. Now we can get to the bottom of things. The underside of your truck or SUV already has holes for attaching accessories like the bars, protection bars, steps and all sorts of things. Westin uses these mounting holes to mount your tube steps.
Attach brackets
Basically, remove the bolts in the factory (if any) and use the new Westin screw bolt on your bracket. Leave these materials in bulk on the truck to have some leeway in aligning your efforts tube.
Then, take your tube on the measures and align the top of the brackets. For the steps to be uniform on each side, we have aligned the front edge of the tube measures the portal vein and where the mud log. Yes, you can remove the old ruler and measure to the millimeter, but nobody will notice or care.
Bolt 'em Up
