I bought a 1982 Yamaha Virago and found a 1984 for parts, and I was walking though many of the accessories that match or not. As the seat, fender and taillight and tank. Can someone help me?

There were many changes, at least for the chassis. You can check the part numbers to bikebandit.com to be sure, they assign their own part numbers so it is easy to overlap. The numbers of the plant are a pain because they use different sets and revision numbers for the same room for different years.
